LEGENDARY INTERIORS DOES NOT MAKE SEAT FOAMS FOR 71 CUDA

Hi guys; Just talked to the guys at Legendary interiors today because they are having their big holiday sale and found out they do not make the bucket seat foams for the 1971 cuda. They do have them for 1970,so it doesnt make sense that they wouldnt have them for 71. Where did you guys go for good seat foams for the 71? i found this link on ebay below,but i found that if the foams arent made by ACC or legendary that they can be hard as a rock.

No I don't have a lot of experence with new foams. Most cars I've done use the original foams.

Arent original foams pretty broken down and deteriorated after 43 years?

Hi guy's, I'm really a newb here but had to reply to the original poster.
I tried that PUI brand foam along with the Legendary seat covers and the end result was garbage!
I think the covers are very nice but the foam is waaay too thick and when assembled it looks and feels terrible!
I paid big $$$ to buy the foam, have it shipped to Canada and profesionally installed. The result was so terrible I tore it all apart and ordered new foam from PG Classics.
It just arrived yesterday so I can't say to how it will fit but it looks much better. It's definitely thinner and just looking at it it looks more like how the original seat should look. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with this.
PUI foam in my eyes has been nothing but very expensive junk!

I had the same problem with my 71. Legendary said they only make foam for the leather seats for the 71 so I bit the bullet and bought them. I couldn't get them to fit at all so I gave them to a seat guy who has been doing seats for 20+ years and he had a very hard time making them fit. You talk to one guy at Legendary and he says no problem they fit. Talk to another guy and he says no you have to cut foam here and add foam there. I was really pissed because I have used them for many cars and had no problems but on this car they cost me a ton of money especially when my seat guy said I should have just bought the vinyl seat covers and he could have made the foam for me. Don't you just love the one year only cars that everything costs double!

Their website doesn't list Mopars at all; are they getting into the market but not advertising yet?

My husbands partner that does the interiors for the cars he does uses distinctive and said they are into mopars i would say give them a call.
