2 Barracudas in west Texas
« on: December 10, 2013 - 10:05:28 PM »
Found a couple barracudas in a ghost town in west Texas. Terlingua Texas to be exact. They looked to be in very good shape but did have some dust on them and they were outside. There was also a nice GTO and a 3 wheeled trike there, but I have no idea of the story on these vehicles. Sorry for the crap pics, it was the best I could do in 30 seconds.
Just seeing these rides out in the weather overnight was a suprise to me.

They appear well cared for.

Are you going back to find out what's up?

Nope, just visiting Big Bend National Park. I was hoping someone may live in west Texas and could get the story on these.

There was a show on TV which had Terlingua as a center piece of the show.

Those cars are owned by the bar/hotel owner where you took the pics. I don't think he would sell them but I guess it would never hurt to ask.

The name of the show was called Badlands.

I believe it was also the site of Carroll Shelby's world famous chili cookoffs too if I remember right.  :dunno:
