Interior roof brackets

Any chance someone has pictures of the roof interior? I need pic's of the shoulder belt clips and coat hook locations. I
was dumb enough to put the headliner in without marking their location. Thanks for helping out the dumb guy.

The "V" shaped brackets (PARTS IN THE BACK ROW) for the shoulder belt clips go under the headliner....If you don't have them in place, you're pretty much SOL and will need to let the headliner down again to install first.

If they are in place, you should be able to feel around for them.

Good luck on the coat hangers. Might be better off to redrill a new hole

Pictures that show the location of the brackets and hooks installed. Unless it will become obvious when the headliner
gets pulled down.

If you didn't install the brackets you should see the mounting holes when headliner is released.
Anyway here are a couple of pictures with headliner installed.
The coat hook is at the edge of the headliner board and should be easy to find.
The pictures are from a 71 Cuda though.

 Thanks Dave.      I see the two brackets in the front and middle. What is holding up the buckle at the rear?

Bolt under cover. You should be able to feel the hole thru the headliner material.
A little easier way to do a headliner is to put all the screws and bolts back in the holes before installing the headliner.
This way you can feel the screw heads and back them out thru the material instead of hunting for them afterwards.

Thanks again Dave.  I think I'm gonna start pulling down the headliner now. Suggestions taken. Wish me luck.

I would like to see a bare roof interior picture.  My headliner is installed with no seat belts.  I want to use a modern belt with a drop hanger.  I can feel what I think is the bolt hole, but after looking at all those brackets, I want to be sure it is a threaded hole and not just a hole so that I don't put an unnecessary hole in my headliner where I don't have to.  Thanks guys.

There's really only one hole that size in that area....as you can see in the above pictures...

That is exactly what I needed to see.  Only one hole.  Kind of hard to screw that one up.  Its good piece of mind to see what is under my headliner before I go poking holes in it.  Thanks
