The springs are biggest impediment to fitting larger tires. Obviously, cutting perches and rewelding them on the original E body housing accomplishes the spring movement. The easy aspect of using a B body housing is it avoids all the cutting and welding involved with converting an E body housing.  It also will require a different offset of the rims between the two options as well.
