Lemontwist Cuda
« on: December 16, 2013 - 10:54:53 PM »
Thought I would share a shot of what the car looked like the day I picked it up. This was in 2007. Brought the car home on a trailer with 5 truck loads of parts. First thing I bought was an assembly manual. I needed it best investment I every made.

This is a shot of the car now. It was finished in 2012 and has about 1900 miles on it since the restoration. I know Im a mopar addict but I really enjoy working on these cars. The people I have met in this hobby are great.

Dennis!  Nice job man!    :clapping:  You're now doing a Charger and looking for a T/A, tight?  Glad you made it over here.... you'll love this site.  Bunch of true mopar guys that will help without anything and about as nice as you'll ever find.  It's like all the help of Moparts without the attitude.

Dennis is a friend and a really great guy.  If anyone knows where a good T/A project can be had, he's a serious buyer.

I have seen this high quality car in person.  The restoration is top notch and done at a high level.  Love the 4 speed.  Congradulations Dennis and thanks for sharing.

How have we not gotten Dennis on this site before!  He's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.   His good buddy Charlie is a super nice guy too and has some great cars also.  Dennis, see if you can get Charlie to posts some photos of his cars.

Thanks guys I appreciate the positive comments. Cody is right our friend Charlie has a great collection of mopes. He actually turned me on to this hobby.  His garage is full. One more is scheduled back from paint in January it is a 70 Cuda 340 4 speed orange car. This is a shot of his garage at the last garage night. He has 2 convertibles one is a 340 Cuda 4 speed and  1 is a R/R plus several hard tops.

Thanks for the compliments, Yes I would really like to get a TA. My preference would be to do a restoration on one. When I go to shows Im already surprised that there are very few in our area. I have several friends that have AAR's but the TA is one of my dream cars. I have a few that Ive looked at but the sellers are not interested in letting them go at this time. Im still on the hunt but appreciate any leads that some one may have.
Thanks
Dennis
