Man, gotta agree with your guys - I am a member over on that chevelle website and those guys especially the moderators were way out of line.  They WAY overreacted to someone talking in the third person.  Must be that their homeland security is set on blinking red and they explode on anyone that doesn't fit the cookie cutter mold that is team-chevelle.

Looks like a good site - I registered so I can have a look around.  Don't worry, I won't piss on any tires or steal any of your women with my non-greasy fast chevy.  YET.

You hit the nail on the head when you said many of us are born into this like our religions. I wasn't really born into it but my dad did plant the seed back in 1968, when I was in high school he bought a new Roadrunner. Man, did he ever go through the tires! LOL
Anyway, you sound like one of the many muscle car enthusiests who appreciates others passions as well. Have fun looking through here and come visit often! PS, that's a nice looking 68 you have there!

Chevy guys are born into it, dodge guys are inbred into it.  HA HA. KIDDING KIDDING!

well at least you guys have a sense of humor - you haven't edited my posts or locked the thread or talked in the private area about me ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Jealous of hemis?   :bs:  I can't speak for all chevys because god knows, there are some piece o'**** chevys out there and I'm not defending them, but i am pretty sure I can hold my own against most of you

Never owned a mopar but I look at some of them like I look at a fat chick with a pretty face. I'll give'm a second look but I won't hump their leg.  I have a good friend who works on mopars (www.sharadon.com) so I have nothing bad to say about them except they are slow (kidding!  ;)).  Ok, at least they are slow if you are given the exact same budget to build them from...  chevys are like belly buttons, sure, but parts are relatively cheap.

Thanks for the warm welcome - but you have have your ladies back - they are a bit too hairy and I'm not big on mopar-mullets on chicks.   :fire:  :fire:  :fire:  :fire:  :fire:   :fire:  :fire:

Hey, you never did tell us what your turbo is resting in.....Assuming it's turbocharged, I'm guessing a newer F-body Camaro SS or something.  Am I close? :dontknow:
About your attitude, it's alright cause most of my friends are Chevy and Fjord owners anyways.  They all joke around and stuff until they get shown up by a stock 360/4 spd. '66 Valiant Signet.  At least that's what happened to my friend with a '69 SS clone running a 355 spec-d to the same qualifications as our local race track.  Needless to say, he'll still start in with jokes and all on my Challenger, but he knows if the 360 took him, my built 340 would lay him to rest in a heartbeat. :grinyes:
You do have a point about the availability of parts for Chevies: every neighbor and their redneck cousin owns one. :grinyes: (mostly applies to Camaros)

This guy is cool, be sure to stick around, we always need the other side of the story, you know the one where you start exagerating on how you took that mopar real bad. But what you dont say is it was a plymouth breeze, or neon. But seriously, we can take it, cause we like to dish it out. your tops in burpins book.

It's in a chevelle silly!  Not yet though, I'm in the process of changing power adders - went from inches and nitrous to almost as big inch and the largest turbo available (use your imagination - hint - the turbo alone weighs 68lbs) .  The plan is high 7s on pump gas street driven full interior at 3500lbs.  I have all the parts on order for the new engine but there is a 3 month wait for a billet crank so it likely won't be out this season.

Next season you can show me up with your 360 4speed all you want - I will be making over 2000hp.   :fire: :fire:

I didn't read the reply about Team Chevelle.  I saw your first post and responded to that without looking over any of the other pages.  BTW: the Valiant isn't mine.  I'm sure the guy building the Hemi may spot you in the ET category.  I can't remember his hp, but I know the chassis was fabricated to be NHRA legal into the 7's.  When you say big cubes, are you talking about the 572?

Just do us all a favor and disappoint some of those stupid Ricers when you pull up to them at a streetlight. :grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:
I look at Chevies and Fords as fair competion for our Dodges/Plymouths, but those annoying idiots with wings to wazzoo and an exhaust tip you can stick your closed fist in are just plain stupid!!! :rice:

Our moderators dont do things like that, they just put you in doghouses! then paint them with multicolors. With guard tower and everything. Burpins is in the back away from the others. For some reason no one wants to bunk with Burpin.

I was just teasing - I don't really have a turbo engine - it's really a 327 turbo fire with a 2bbl, 3/4 race cam, and headers.  Really.   :coffee:
