NEWBIE!! From Idaho!! where cars don't rust
« on: December 17, 2013 - 12:12:55 AM »
Hello,

I'm new to the forum and am very happy to be here. I have been a member of the Dodgecharger site for a while and love the MOPAR product. I am a Charger Freak!! I like the Cuda's too, but, i'm 6ft 5 and they dont wear well on the big fellas.

I do have some cars that I would like to sell including a 68 Charger, 70 Barracuda GC rubber bumper car, a 67 formula S 383 Big Block 4spd Cuda, and a Couple Coronets.

69 Black Charger is my Baby. And yes the Superbird is real.

Thanks
Scott

Anybody considering dealing with this guy USE CAUTION!!!  Not trying to stir up trouble just watching out for fellow c-c.com folks

**and the nasty pm's start..admin not trying to start anything the warning to others is a necessity though.. I and many others in the local Mopar community have had many "unfortunate" dealings.

WOW!! Nice welcome from a fellow Idaho member. I sent you a PM as to asking who this was but no response. I have nothing to hide.  Im sure that I've pissed someone off but I know who they are, and tried to make it right. Well, some I pissed off on purpose.

Are you sure you have the right person?

I know your name is Matt and from Boise and in your 20's. Not aware that I know you...

Those are some sweet lookin cars!

I have to ask about the barracuda Gran coupe though.
Being an e body sight I have interest in the GC.

Does it have a build sheet?
Fender tag readout?

What are you asking.

Would love to see some pics of the car!

Are you selling everything?

WOW!! Nice welcome from a fellow Idaho member.

moparheaven

you will find that this is a pretty tight nit community compared to most other mopar forum sights.
Folks here try to look out for the next guy.
This sight is not just about offing parts and cars.

Take no offense and hang out.

Thank you for the Kind words. I pm black71. I have never met him. I dont even sell my stuff locally. I have a site on Ebay called Lostclassics. I used to do a lot. Worked with a dealer at the time but that was over 7 years ago. I build cars for a living now. I read what he posted last night and I didn't sleep at all. I have tried and tried to go over in my brain as to a Matt from Wieser that has a 71 Challenger. I don't know him. Never met him.
I'm so confused.

Anyway. Here is the Charger that I did for this years Mopars at the Strip in Vegas. We were featured in this mag.

I am selling the 68 Charger and the 67 Cuda, and the 70 Barracuda GC

the 70 is a Red on black car with LOTS of options. I have not looked for a build sheet but the fender tag is still in place. Its a 318 car, auto, slap stick, ac, rubber bumper car. Very Very original. Has all the original sheet metal. Missing the front rubber bumper, looks like they towed it behind a Motorhome. But this car is really complete. It has the 6 way seat control as well, and a rim blow steering wheel.

I just got it running, replacing the gas tank and sending unit. Replacing the master cylinder, and getting the brakes all working properly. Will service the trans, or rebuild if needed. Then next week we will be cutting out the rust in the top and trunk and replacing with AMD new metal. Going to put a new Vinyl top on her and get her back driving.

This is the plan. Will sell when I have all the hard part finished.
Couple weeks and she will be finished.

Welcome to the site and that Charger is just fabulous! I don't know what the earlier kerfuffle was about, but, as mentioned, this is a pretty tight group and it'd be exceedingly hard to hide the fact, if you were pretending to be something that you're not and I'll leave it at that. What are you asking for the cars you mentioned if i may ask?

Hey WELCOME to the site, that is a cool Gran Coupe you have  I love the options on the fender tag too, very nice indeed, Elastameric front and rear bumpers and all, even has the textured rear window trim to go with the Black vinyl roof it is meant to have, that would be a stunning car restored back to original :jumping: :clapping:

Still not sure about what black71 said. I don't know him. I don't sell locally either. I just build cars for customers all over the world. My current customers are from Canada, Montana, and Australia. The Green 68 Charger I have for sale is a very very well know car here in the valley. His wife raced it at the local track for many years. Black71 might think that I'm him??? I dont know. I didn't know him very well. Anyway.

The Green Charger is for sale on this site and on the Dodge Charger site which I have been a member of since 2002. I am a Charger Freak. Its for sale now at $26,900.00 until I'm finished with Her. Thought someone might like Christmas Present.

The 67 Cuda is for sale for $6900.00  It is the Real Deal Formula S 383 big block 4spd car. I have the fender tag and Build sheet. I have everything down to the emblems for that car. Bumpers, grill, tail lights. Interior. The grill is in good shape and the bumpers were not pitted or bad that I remember. I have not checked to see if the motor is dated correctly. It should be, I was told it was, but I have not checked. I have found Zero Rust in this car. I have the correct exhaust manifolds for it. Someone cut out the inner fenders for headers, and there is a fuel cell in the trunk. Everything else is original.

The 70 Barracuda is all original. Someone put a hitch on the rear and took the front bumper off to tow it but other than that, it is all original. It has the upper Console and a lot of Cool options. I would take $9500.00 for it as it is, or when I'm finished fixing all the rust issues, new wheels and tires, vinyl top, brakes, fuel tank, sending unit, removing the hitch, etc.. I will be asking 13K.

Thanks
Scott
