Power to manual steering. ??
« on: December 18, 2013 - 12:23:23 PM »
What do I need or what is required to change from power to manual steering ?  Is the steering column length a issue ?  Adapter needed ?
Where to find a manual steering box ? No junkyards close by. Any particular steering box to get ?
Any other issues involved in doing this. ?
Thanks for any input.

Looks nice in person too, I have the box plus the adapter. Can't tell you how it feels since I'm still in tear down mode.

Here is the page, I couldn't find them for awhile either. But they are linked to on the mopar steering box page. After my last steering coupler broke I had this one welded.

These prices have gone up by 1/3 since I got them at Summit, 5 yrs. ago. It has the same ratio as the aluminum stock box. The column adapter and box stem, have a stock circular grove and tooth flat, so the Allen set screw works either way.

Yep sure am.

Let me know if you are interested in it.  Maybe we can work out a trade?
