Pic of ESPO 1.5" over + 275 rear tires?
« on: December 21, 2013 - 07:27:56 PM »
Looking for a picture of ESPO 1.5" over stock with 275/60 rear tires. I'm running this size tire and want to see the look before I pull the trigger on the ESPOs. I'm running 235/60 fronts and want a decent rake.

I like a car with a good rake to it also. I went with espo 1" over springs with poly bushings and have no complaints at all.  Have the same tire sizes and also run my battery in the trunk.   Don't know how much difference there is between a 1'' and 1.5" over spring ---- I would go with the 1.5 .   Springs have been on for about 6 years now.

Nice cuda, love those billboards with the louvers. Stance looks good, I'm thinking the 1.5" also, want a bit more rake to it.

Granted this is a roadrunner, I think this stance is perfect. Might be more than 1.5" over stock? Definitely will need to crank down the torsion bars in the front...

Also notice, that if they wanted to, bentpshrods and ff6849could probably lower the nose more if they wanted to if you wanted more rake with the same rear springs they have.  :2cents:

What size wheels & tires are you running?  Are those 8" front & 10" rims on the rear.  I've got 7" front / 8" back rallyes right now and I'm considering moving the 8" to the front and getting 10" for the back.  I also have stock height xhd ESPO springs to go on but waiting to do some floor pan work before I redo the suspension.

Thanks, Jim

dodj is right. I put a new front suspension kit in and when I had it alined I had the front end height brought up a bit to give me a little more header clearance. I could bring it down a bit for a little more rake.     RR--the wheels are 15 X 7 front (235/60)  and 15 X 8 rear (275/60)

Exactly what I'm running except I've got 245/60s on the front.  Great looking car and love the stance, I hope I'm going to be as happy with my std height rear springs.  I thought you're front could be a bit lower too so maybe mine will still have a little nose down attitude with my setup.

Not being picky, just wanted to point out that's a Charger probably 71 not a Roadrunner.  Same basic shape so easy to confuse the two, and both great looking cars!

Ah yea you're right. The rear window of the charger comes to an almost point while the roadrunner is more rounded. Good eyes
