I just had Brewers go through my transmission. These guys know 833's like the back of their hands. I had a bad vibration that I narrowed down to the trans. I wanted somebody that would spot issues with the parts in the trans. Somebody who just rebuilds trannies might not spot some little problem. Myself included.
So here's how it works using Brewer's to rebuild your trans. Call them up and tell them what you have going on. I'm just 1 state away from them so shipping cost is going to vary on this. They shipped me a heavy duty box with a foam clam shell insert and included a return shipping label. This cost me $75.00 plus $90.00 for return shipping label. They tore it down and called me with a quote and the parts list. The main shaft was bent as I had figured. This was due to me losing a drive shaft during a hard shift. They also replace a counter shaft, bearings, shift shaft, shift fork and all the usual stuff. The bill ended up being $975.00 parts and labor plus return shipping. It took a total of about 4 weeks. They did a great job as far as cosmetics go also. It looks like a brand new trans that's ready to install. Wayne and Dan are extremely knowledgeable with these trannies and are very helpful with answering any questions. I highly recommend Brewers!
