Just a quick blurb on the SEM paint. I can buy it locally in Edmonton (CAPS).  I used it on a few pieces when I did my Build. All My interior Metal around the windows. Matched perfect. Easy to use and reasonable.

   Just did most of my  interior vinyl, plastic parts with SEM Black Landau and they look new!

Good looking parts and it looks like it's coming together for you nicely. Remember, measure 4 times and cut once!

Well, it's been too long since I've updated, and I've been busy ... so here it goes, a series of posts. First off ... regarding the drivetrain, I've got the block back from the machine shop and it's good news ... after tanking and fluxing and measuring, we know it's standard bore, no cracks ... it's a perfect core (always a bit of a gamble when buying a motor off the net).  I picked it up now before the machining is done because I need to use it to do my mock up with the new tko600.  Once that's all done, it'll go back to get bored 30 over, line honed, etc.  I haven't ordered the stroker kit from 440source yet, that'll come soon enough.

So here's a picture of the block, to start off my series of updates.

Okay ... so here are some photos of the US CarTool frame connector installation.  All in all, they went in very easily ... once I realized that applying pressure to force them against the floor pans is key ... (by the way, it mentions this in they manual, which I read later ...  ) the only other item is that they are about 1/2 inch wider than the rear frame rails so the you have a address that when you fit the rear. All I ended up doing was welding a bridge, carefully.  Here are the photos ... enjoy.

Did you have an fit issues with the small hump near the rear of the tunnel? When I test fit mine it doesn't line up so it looks like a cut will need to be made somewhere.  I'm about to install on my 73 in the next week or so, any tips would be much appreciated.

sorry  ... editing my original post, I misunderstood what you were asking about ... regarding the AMD hump, yes - there is a fitment issue with a hump in the floor pan near the rear of the tunnel.  I will have to cut the AMD piece to make it work, but am waiting for the tranny to arrive to ensure i know exactly where the hump is going to sit for proper shifter throw.
