Update on my progress guys ... The tunnel mods are all complete and I'm ready to move on to the next phase ... Epoxy prime all new metal and welds, and begin body work and panel fitment.  Still on track for laying down colour this fall.

And so I've had another set back with this tranny.  Turns out the shift rail "got bent during shipping".  So I have to ship it back to have it replaced.  Sigh.  Here is a picture of the rail.



Apparently that rod should be straight ;-)

Yeah, I didn't expect it either.  It hit just enough that it was going to be a problem.  Now it clears easily and I created enough room in the tunnel that I have a little extra space to play with drive line angle later if necessary.

Body work continues folks ... Busy with the chassis , underneath at the moment ... Want to make sure it looks pretty clean underneath before it's painted.  Pictures soon!  Hope to have this wrapped up by end of June so I can move onto blocking the quarters, doors, etc.  paint by October, must reach that goal!

Oh my god, still nothing?  Mine gets shipped back on Friday.  I have found better customer service when working with Gray, who I believe is the founder.  For what it's worth.  I think these are REALLY struggling at the moment though.  If I had to do it all over again, I'd go hurst.

Well, the time has finally arrived to lay down my paint!  It's been a long road and I have a lot of pictures to share of all the body work.  I have new respect for those who do it every day, I learned a lot about blocking panels.  Someday when I tackle the 68 bee it'll go faster.  Anyway, just a couple pics to share today, more later.  Ignore the black specs in the photo, my iPhone has a scratched lens.  Sigh

What ?......I thought the TKO600 was a direct bolt in kit ? 

I finished the car I was doing, but the owner had to tear out the interior and modify his freshly painted floor much like yours. He took the heat because it was his decision to not wait for the tranny to do a mock-up and went ahead and painted the car first.  It's all done now and works great. 
I'm starting another resto-mod right now with the same TKO600...it should go a lot easier the second time.

I read about another issue with that shifter rail hitting the yoke when shifting gears. Something to check....
