One question, my 73 looks exactly like yours, do you have a picture without the billboards and wing?
Im thinking of removing them on mine.
Also the hood scoops and grill insert were red when I bought , as seen in my forum picture,, how is yours done, what was original?

Sorry don't have a picture without the wing, I think if you look in my build thread there are one or two of it without billboards but it was mid assembly.

Re hood scopes, pretty sure they were body colour from the factory, basin street blue, black inserts.  I painted them semi gloss black because i think it helps balance the black from the billboards and rear tail panel.

Cheers

ALL hood scoop inserts were black from the factory 1970-74, and all grill surrounds were orange/red from the factory in 1972-74 :2cents:

Thank you, I may change to the orange red., mine look more like blood red.

I found your photos without the billboards, now I have to wonder if the paint will look different underneath after removal. Time to do a thread search.

Hey congrats buddy! Great restoration on the car and the motor turned out real nice! Can't wait to get back to my Challenger one of these days. I'll probably bug you for some tips on engine assembly

Did you install a windage tray Twalker? If you did, what did you use? I see a lot for a std 440. but not the 512.
