I'd spend 7500 on one of each...that way I don't have to decide which to have :grinyes:

OK,
Just to joke around. I've read were the Challenger was supposed to be the more luxurios of the two. Can you explain how(ha,ha)? It's funny now, to read the write-ups they had back then.

  Mike
I bought a brand new 71 challenger. I also looked at the cuda back then.
I chose the chally b/c of the hype that it was supposed to be more luxurious, made to compete with the cougar crowd while the cuda was supposed to appeal to the mustang crowd.

But I don't know why it was considered more luxurious, though the challys were several hundred dollars more. I remember it was supposed to be a little fancier on the inside- again, just what is fancy?, and a little smoother riding.
And the cuda was supposed to be a little sportier and muscular.

For me..It was  what I was first influenced with. My parents came home one night after I came home from school back in 72 and there sat a 71 Barracuda in the driveway. I would like to say that I have been around more Challenger Mopar buddies over the years. But for me and I'm sure many of you, it was what you were first turned onto.

If you had two challengers, you would have 2 of the greatest muscle cars built  :grinno: :grinyes: ;D

I should have specified that these would be two different great muscle cars. :grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T - The name alone is mighty enough.

Buldge Hood is better IMO, one of the best if not THE best hoods ever made.
The lines on the Challenger present themselfs more.
Less clutter, no gills or complicated "messy" grills just a pure designing feat.
Longer wheel base, 2" only but like in racing an inch is a mile.

The grill, THE GRILL just can't be beat along with the tail lights.

Having said all that they are bith great cars with both having there pros.  ;)
