You Decide which one
« on: April 08, 2005 - 06:33:29 PM »
OK, I see a few fisticuffs going on on the Cuda vs. Challenger thread.
So I say, let's vote and put and end to this debate.
Yes, you are entitled to your own opinion. But let's see what the members think.

Now here is the situation let's say....You have 15,000 dollars in your pocket.  One day you see
two E bodies sitting next to each other. One is a Cuda and one is a Challenger. Both are the same price
Both cars are the same color, and both are equally equipped. But you can only buy one right now.
Which one would you choose? and if you like Why?

Depends on the year of the Cuda and Challenger.  If they are both 71, I'd take the Cuda.  For 70, I'd take the Challenger.  72-74 - Cuda.

I'm about to agree with you Ghost. Yeah Topcat, I don't like this thread at all. Let's pick on some other piece of dung. We all love these cars, that's why we are here. Let's leave it at that.

That's funny! Wait till April hears this.  And I would like to interate that this thread isn't about which one is better, but what you really like. OK? I should've put in an option vote...no decision. Sorry! :dontknow:
Not trying to offend anyone here. And if you are, then you took this thread a little too serious.

Yeah topcat,
I threw that pink thing in to get someone's attention.  I'm sure I'll hear it about that. :gripe: OK, I'll place a vote, but you should have included that 84 Shelby Charger. :ack:

My absolute favorite is the 1970 Challenger. I had 5 over the decades. But right now I have 2 1971 'cudas. But I guess I was ine right place at the right time for each one of them. But if there was a 1970 Challenger there at the time, I'd would have snagged it instead.

I`ll take the `cuda-I like the more aggresive muscular looking `cuda body. The Challenger has a more refined classier look but not as intimidating as the `cuda.I also like the `cuda stripes better-hockey stick and billboards.

OK,
Just to joke around. I've read were the Challenger was supposed to be the more luxurios of the two. Can you explain how(ha,ha)? It's funny now, to read the write-ups they had back then.

I voted challenger. However, if this is the real world....I would buy the cuda......a 15k challenger is most likely a very nice 340 car, the equivalent to the challenger would be a very nice 340 cuda......If this is the case than here is what I would do. I would buy the cuda, sell it for 20-25k that take 15k of that and buy the challenger and put that 5k into it

1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)
