Well, this is pretty much convincing me to avoid ARE wheels.

Well, this is pretty much convincing me to avoid ARE wheels.

I have Torque Thrust 'M' AR wheels on my car and like'm a lot.
Got them from these guys in Texas.

Very similar to Dave's wheels, but with a small centre cap. Not sure why they couldn't fix Dave's (and others)problem with a cap like what is on my wheels.

I'm sure there's a thousand ways to fix it, but the bane of the hobby for me has been bad customer service. If they show they don't care, I don't buy from them.

It amzes me that so many can have the issue and they do nothing about it....

In comparison - I buy K&N filters for all my vehicles...have done so for years.

I have had three filters for a long long time -- one for 9, two others for approaching 15 years.

All three went bad....filter media breakdown on one, rubber failing on the other two.

K&N has replaced all three NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Amazing that ARE cant just FIX a simple issue like this.
