    ok. i was leaving my high school parking lot about to go home in my 360 challenger. all was ok and calm tell i heard this ricer revv his car. ok. now ill stay. i back up next to him and look at him. it was a 2 door lexus with an exhaust. i was like WEAK. but he kept revving. so i revved up the chally to about 4 grand and set off about 5 alarms. as we left the guy ask me to race him for 100 bucks. i just shook my head and said i cant hear you and sped off. the guy foolows me down the main street and pulls up next to me doing like 40. by this time i was sick of it and said screw it. i droppped into lower gear and smoked him for a few seconds and let off. by this time i was sure he was done. but sure enough he ppulls up next to me and revvs again. omg he doesnt get it. normaly i baby my car mainly cuz the engine has less than 100 miles but im certain my rings have set in cuz of my current 240 deggree prob i had for a couple of weeks. anyway i drop the hurst into gear and all that happened was my car revved. i was dumbfounded and pissed. was stuck inbetween gears? or what? any way he sped off and i was stuck at the light. sorry guys. i let u down. lol

    no. maybe it wasnt in gear all the way or my kickdown wasnt hooked up or i dunno. but i was pissed

    You still win, because you have the cooler car.  When you see him bragging to all his buddies how he beat you, challenge him to a rematch at the nearest drag strip.  If he turns it down, call him chicken and walk away. ;D

    ya u guys are right. i was still mad though, :pissed:. next time i see him i will just ignore him and pass him doing triple digit numbers.

    its not how fast you go it how fast you get there , so my car cant do 130 without your overdrive but do you want to race.

    It happens. :mad: I lost a race to a blonde in a 1980 Z28, which was a stock slush bucket, when I grabbed 2nd gear and it wasn't there. Tac hit 8000 rpms and I saw her tail lights leaving me! :banghead: :gripe: :pissed: But I'm over it, NOT!
