I once owned on of those; 318 3spd, gun metal grey with a white & checkered interior. I put a 340 4 spd in it and painted it yellow Emron. Nice car until I spun a rod bearing then I traded it in for a 74 Challenger and started all over. I really liked that Road Runner.

I saw one for sale at the Frankenmuth MI show a few years ago. Black with orange stripe, beautiful paint, 440-4spd. The owner wasn't with it and I had to tear myself away before he came back or I might have bought it. If one like that shows up again someday I'm in trouble.

Definitely an acquired taste, but I like them. I always wanted a 71/72 as a buddy had a 71 GTX 440 4 spd and I really liked it, but I never found one when I had money to buy.

1969 Dodge Charger.  A very unusual looking CGI image.  71 style slits in the front fenders.

:iagree: pretty tough to improve on the perfection of the Charger design.
