Yo, diddy boo foo. Get your sido the hoodo lined so the gaps are correct. If the hood is high in the back when closing, loosen
the side bolts and push the nose of the hood up while someone tightens the bolts. The FSM has a pretty good outline on hood
adjustment if needed. What is a foo-foo anyway?
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Thanks 72! A foofoo is just a clean and paint while I pulled the auto and put a 4 speed in.

Gotcha.     Well as I hinted at, lining up a hood is far from rocket science. As long as you're not moving
fenders or the header panel. And it's much easier with 2 people.

In the future, scribe around where the hinge meets the hood with a marker.  It will save you HUGE hassles in re-aligning.  For now, you might be able to see where the hinge met the hood from where they met.  Again, it will save HUGE hassles in time and adjusting if you place the hinge back where it was in the first place

it is too late now but next time drill an 1/8 inch hole in the front and back of hinge mating area next to mounting bolts after hood alignment. During reassembly install ice picks into the holes then reinstall bolts. works for the doors and the trunk as well.

Oh yeah,SG, thanks for reminding me. I did drill alignment holes hinge to hood but not hinge to body. Where do you initially set hinge to body?
