Trunk floor
« on: January 06, 2014 - 11:29:28 AM »
Hi,

Does anyone have an idea why the trunk floor isn't aligned with the panel which holds the trunk lock?

You can see what I mean in the picture below?

If the spot welds under the filler to the floor haven't been messed with, it's most likely the way it was built- from the factory. If it's any consolation, the rt trunk extension in my 74 was a measured and photo'd 3/4" lower than the main floor! Probably the same piss tanks who built yours. If the deck lid opens and closes correctly- enjoy.  :2cents:

Thanks for the info! Then it's probably the original trunk floor.
