challenger RT
« on: January 09, 2014 - 02:48:36 AM »
Hi guys and gals,
i thought i would update my build thread, but its on page 46, so ill make another
been a long time between drinks, anyway its going to be a 440 ,4 speed, 18 spline,
6 spot wilwoods on the front 4 spot wilwoods on the back, sort of pro tourer but not really,
18 x 9.5 on the back 18 x 8 on the front, boss 338s with falken rt 915 semi slicks.
black trim, orange paint i made my self, i am a spray painter by trade, so i have done every thing on this car my self, change quarters, trunk floor, rear rails, tail panel, door skins, remove the intrusion bars in the doors as well, they were 18 kilograms each, repair and paint the car,
Im putting it back together know, so i will be the DUMB guy asking the stooped questions.

Thanks

the first pic is were i stopped working on the car in 2007, i didn't start it again untill 2012,
we had our second child, so the car had to wait for a while,
when i started again ,i had changed my plans on the car ,so i cut it up again.
Back from the sandblasters and spray on a epoxy etch primer

after weeks of blocking and blocking it was ready to see some colour.
I decided to paint the whole shell, then cut it back and flow coat it in a spray booth

I love it  :bigshades: ::)    What are the "old" wheels?  I like them. They remind me of 70`s BBS wheels.

We have a similar wheel to those over here called Simmins, they are a lite weight 3 piece wheel. Not sure if they are the same as what is pictured, but they sure do look the same
