Mr Norms TA????
« on: January 09, 2014 - 09:28:14 PM »
Does anyone on here own a Mr Norms TA Challenger? . How many were built? Or should I say how many went through Grand Spaulding Dodge.  How about color combo's for those cars.

There are a handful known.  Mr. Norm didn't do anything with them.  They were just stock T/A's he sold through the dealership.  You can talk to the Mr. Norm's paperwork guy, he might have more answers.  He's got a website I believe.  I know of two, a yellow and a cream/tan color one.

A guy in Iowa that I met at Carlisle and again at MCACN in Chicago, has 6 T/A's.  He has a Mr. Norm's Go Mango, he had it at MCACN.  He's a nice guy... There was a Mr. Norm's exhibit at MCACN, I believe there were three T/A's there.  Go Mango, Plum Crazy, and Blue.

So Grand Spaulding dodge did nothing to the t/a cars? That's interesting considering what they did to some of the others.

My favourite Mr norm car was his supercharged Dodge Demons.

I know of a very original Mr Norms T/A , it has headers on it that look as original as the car so probably dealer installed
V2 4 spd , if I recall correctly it has louvers as well

Unless it was a specific Mr. Norm's car like the GSS cars cars sold from that dealership would typically be stock. However they were very big on pushing performance and tune-up packaged which the owner could finance as part of the purchase.

There were certianly T/As that left Mr. Norm's with some modifications, but he did not have a package for the T/A specifically.

I agree , no specific T/A pkg but they would do mods if the customers requested it to make the sale

What do you think, if any, value would be added because a T/A was original sold by Mr. Norm?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Mr. Norm cars have a "cult like" following, but I wouldn't think it adds much value, especially if the car wasn't altered by Mr. Norm :dunno:
