I would think that a Mr.Norms documented car may have an extra value of 2% on top of the value of the car. :2thumbs: IMO  Only because they do have a cult following and people in general seem to know this to be true.

2% is fair . Anyone know how many are out there. I was thinking maybe 100 cars went through that dealership? Any other thoughts?

May not even be 100 here!!

Mr. Norm cars have a "cult like" following, but I wouldn't think it adds much value, especially if the car wasn't altered by Mr. Norm :dunno:

You are correct.  That's the issue many people have with "Mr. Norm's" Cars.  He was the #1 Dodge Dealer in the country, by volume.  Hundreds of cars crossed his path, from Coronet Wagons to Hemi Challengers.

And that is correct, he could modify the cars how ever he pleased, but there was no package for the T/A's specifically.

I have pictures of the Mr. Norm's T/A's in my albums below.

According to this, there were at least 50 on Mr Norm's lot at one point:

Devil,

I could not find the white with red interior mr. norm's t/a in the album.
I'm assuming you meant one of the other t/a's then.

My FE5 red with black top and interior T/A was sold at Mr. Norms.  Interestingly, a couple years ago I was at a local car show and a unrestored red and black top T/A pulled in I hadn't eyeballed before, and when I went over to check it out, I found it was my car's twin 2 VIN's past mine and also a Mr Norms sold car!  I contacted Barry and he said my car was the first of 4 identical consecutively VIN'd T/A's that Mr Norms ordering guy had ordered for the dealership.  The car after that one is supposed to be alive and well in Atlanta.  So at least 3 of those 4 T/A's still exist!
Someone was telling me once that Mr Norm said he sold 400 T/A's.  I find that number to be hard to believe, that would mean 1 of every 6 T/As went through that single dealership??  I know he was involved in a lot of dealer trades and such.  A buddy of mine had an FY1 T/A that had been sold at a dealership in Iowa but he found it went to Mr Norms first.  Also, Mr Norms advertised heavily on WLS radio, a powerhouse top 40 radio station of the time, and people traveled from far away to Chicago to buy hipo Dodges from Mr Norm.  I think it was Richard Eherenberg from Mopar Action who told a story of traveling with a friend from NY to purchase a T/A from Mr Norms back then as an example.
An interesting contrast though was with the 69 Daytonas.  As I recall, Mr Norms only sold one of those. :dunno:

Their were more T/A's than Daytona's so that could be right, but 400 is a lot of cars to sell being T/A's really, it would be interesting to find out how many he did sell in reality and if they have record of how many went through Grand Spaulding. :2thumbs:

...today, the car still has less than 5,000 miles

...PS, it was a Mr. Norms car
