    car rotisserie - I've never seen one like this before!

    While surfing the net I came across some pics of a Cuda on some sort of rotisserie flipped up on its side. What caught my attention was that it wasn't your "traditional" rotisserie that bolts to the subframe at the bumper mounts. I'm not really sure how this thing works as I have never seen one like it before. But it does look like it could be more convenient to use in a space limited garage than it's bigger cousin the bumper mounted rotisserie. I'm intrigued and want to find out more about it. I tried a search of the net to try and find out more about it but came up with nothing. Has anyone ever seen one like this one?

    WHY?   :clueless:  Do you think fluids might find a way out?  Brake Fluid, fuel, carbs, engine, trans?  I don't think I would feel comfortable flipping my cars like that.  Even in the photos it looks like he has a pan near the trans to catch fluid.

    Good point. But for arguments sake, lets assume that all of the car's fluids were drained and leakage wasn't an issue. You guys ever seen a rotisserie/car flipper like this before??

    That car is for sale locally to me, I have been meaning to stop by and look at it.  I think he wants to much $$$$ for what he's got.  I will try to call him and stop by and see it.

    Saw those "flippers" at SEMA for sale.  Forgot the name of them.

    I like it,
    of course, once all fluids are drained but lets say you needed to weld on connectors or torque box's, hell of a lot easier to weld them on this way, or replace the tailshaft, sway bars and so on, wast of time if you only going to change the tranny oil. Interesting system.

     :poopoke: Just kidding, it is a very simple and non bulky way to store a car, but minus fluid, i do not like the idea of working on it like that though, i would have to see one to make a better evaluation. :2thumbs:

    My buddy works at a local Toyota dealership and they have one of those with a new Corolla in it, on it's side. I never looked as to where they were made, but could maybe find out if someone wanted to know. Let me know if you do. Ian
