trying to search for k members/frames in the parts for sale
« on: January 12, 2014 - 09:02:56 PM »
But it says one has two use terms with many consonants and vowels. How do you search for a BB K member? Thanks.

I have poor luck with the search feature.

I can type in PhotoBucket Tutorial and it won't come up with the thread that has that exact name.

OK. So I got all out of whack reading different things about steering gear angles and stuff, and big block versus small block and stuff. And offset motor mounts and stuff. It got me wondering. Car came with a 340. It has a 360. I'm building a stroked 400. So all is good? I'm asking because I want to re-inforce the K welds, and add gussets and stuff. Don't want to do it to a K that I can't use for my purposes. I've read the offset motor mounts cause trouble with exhaust fitment sometimes. MODS, If this is in the wrong forum - please move. Thanks to all for the help. And yes, Cuda Hunter Dude, sometimes google works better with Cuda-Challenger in the search name than a search here. lol.

You are good to go with the K-frame you have to change from Small to Big, no change. :2thumbs:

I only appear to have the one search option. Where is advanced search found?

If you press the search button with no text in the box, it brings up a page that hen has an Advanced Search link on it (not a button).

Then you can search just a certain area or member!

Would recommend new motor mounts. I like these

They have a steel interlock so if the rubber fails, they still hold your motor down. I had factory rubber ones fail and had the passenger side headers hit the shock tower when leaving in 1st gear.

Thanks for that link, dodj. Those are much cheaper than the mity-mounts or the Schumacher mounts!
