$250k new muscle car
« on: January 15, 2014 - 07:24:31 AM »
Just saw this new car company called Equus is coming out with a new muscle car called the Baas.  I don't know about anyone else but for 250k I don't think I'd drop it on this thing.  I mean, yeah, it's fast as hell but it looks like they just took a mustang fastback and slapped a RR front end on it.

why buy that when you can just pick up something equally as impressive in the stats file like a modern Shelby gt500, corvette, any restomodded to the max mustang etc.. for far less money?

there is alot better stuff you can get out there for 250k. Plus it looks awful from the front end.

yeah its not doing much for me.  why not just build a mustang for 50-100$ if that's what you want?

Seriously, u could spend 3 days telling me and show me all the pictures and video in the world, and u could never convince me that this car is anything but a majorly customized 68 mustang fastback, it's rediculous, if it's not built from a 67-68 mustang, then ford should sue for using the likeness without permission .  Absolutely obsurd, every part of that car but the grille looks like the mustang, just. Custom grille, tail panel, and a Cheby motor and suspension

I think it's an OK looking car. Assuming I had $275000 to plunk down for a car, this would not be the one.

:iagree: But if I had 250 grand that I didn't know what to do with, ie after i already have a DB9, GT, etc, i'd buy one. I like the look - better than a 69 Mustang.

I think it's hilarious saying it's a completely custom made frame.  Sure it is...to the EXACT same specs as a stock mustang frame.
