    833 OD Tranny cost

    I have been looking locally for a 4 speed and located a good 833 overdrive in a 1980 van. The guy is asking $200 for it with the shifter assembly. It is already tapped for the rear mounts also. The bellhousing is for a slant six so I don't need that.

    Does this seem reasonable. That price is for him to take it out for me also.

    BTW You might know me as 694spdRT from over at D-C.com. The 833 overdrive tranny swap sounds interesting and they are a little easier to find too. Should go well in the Challenger.
