Most of the time I look at these cars in person and I understand why someone pays what they do. For example, the only T/A at the event (yellow) I thought was a steal when it went across the block, but in person you see why the price was where it was. Nice car, but it had some things that you couldn't see on TV.
The Snake & Mongoose cars & haulers look even better than most photos show. Really nicely done and I can see why they would not want to let them go... at any price. If I owned them I would not sell them. It's okay in my book to have a few cars with reserves, but what I really like about BJ is almost all the cars are no reserve. None of the "reserve is off" BS like other auctions.
