Most of the time I look at these cars in person and I understand why someone pays what they do.  For example, the only T/A at the event (yellow) I thought was a steal when it went across the block, but in person you see why the price was where it was.  Nice car, but it had some things that you couldn't see on TV.

The Snake & Mongoose cars & haulers look even better than most photos show.  Really nicely done and I can see why they would not want to let them go... at any price.  If I owned them I would not sell them.  It's okay in my book to have a few cars with reserves, but what I really like about BJ is almost all the cars are no reserve.  None of the "reserve is off" BS like other auctions.

I think I heard them say there was 134 Corvettes. Must have been nearly as many Camaroes. It would seem the MOPAR  crowd love their cars enough to keep them

That car has been around the block a-time or two.  It was here in Missouri and sold at Mecum for $44,000 about 3-4 years ago.  Now is hammered at $66,000.  Not bad profit - right place - right buyer.  The car is fuel injected and was once owned by Vic Edelbrock.  The hood and wheels really take away from this build.  It is a nice car though.

The true profit is not that easy.  The price shown includes the buyers commission of $6,000.  The seller had to pay a commission of $4,800 plus the time slot fee.  So Barrett Jackson got about $12,000 for the sale and the buyer ended up with under $54,000 plus he still had the cost to transport, hotel, travel and sales tax on the original purchase.   Maybe cleared a few grand and that's the exception.  The bars in Scottsdale are full of guys drinking their losses away.  Very hard to make money at BJ.  Some do it, but it's the exception.  BJ is the big winner.
