It's amazing he cleared two lanes before he met the pole.   :o

Texting while driving is going to be a huge problem in the coming years. I don't know how many times I've been sitting at a light when it turns green, and I still sit there because the driver in front of me has his head down texting. I wish my car had a jammer on it to kill all cell phone activity within 50' of me.   :naughty:

curious why the cop didn't run out of his car to get the driver out...isn't that normally how that scenario goes? Is it really that hard to leave your phone alone while driving or pull over and make the call. My avenger has the blue tooth thing that comes in handy (not literally) and allows me to still have both hands on the wheel without worrying about the phone. it even has an option to read the texts for you and have a verbal reply. I haven't and wont use that option but it is there...

Okay....Here's my plan....Why aren't ALL automobile manufactures required to either install a bluetooth type system in EVERY car, or a jammer/blocker in EVERY car, so people CAN'T USE THEIR DARN PHONE IN THEIR CAR.....It's as simple as that !

I'm 48 years old and I do not own a cell phone or have any use for one....it kills me when people say stuff like..." Is it really that hard to leave your phone alone while driving or pull over and make the call"  There was a time when your "phone" was wired to the wall of your house, and there was nothing wrong with that :2cents:

Leave the darn thing at home!

Yeah , i don't even have a home phone anymore. With the way that the world is going I really wouldn't want to go out without one. However, I won't use it while driving either. I'm on the other side of the world an I still carry it here with a diabetic wife and two kids with medical conditions in the states. Contact is vital. I mean heck, dad is 55 and after getting him a cell phone he is getting rid of the home phone. As mobile as people are I see no reason not to have one

Just my opinion though.

Then they would sit in front of you and try to figure out why their phone isn't working :clueless:
