A couple years ago I purchased a set of the P.G. Classics belts so I wouldn't have to use the restored originals until I was ready for a complete restoration on the car.  Anyhow, the P.G. Classics belts are very nice but the one problem I had was that the buckle on the retractors was too big to fit through the belt guides.

Yes I had the same problem. I did get them through on a major angle. I think they're designed that way so they won't go back through when retracting back in. :2cents:

I purchased them back in May 2008, so maybe they've updated the design since then.  However, with this set, there was no angle that would allow them to get through the guides.  P.G. Classiscs was non-responsive when I emailed them about the issue.  I ended up having to buy a restored set of original retractors off of eBay.
