Do they only light up when the lights are on? Or, do they also blink when the turn signals are used?

If properly wired they light up with the "running lights" and with the "head lights". They do not flash whatsoever, unless wired to do so.

Cool. So, only 72-74 side markers flash when the turn signal is used?

Good deal. One light is out. My brake lights only work on one side and mt turn signals not at all. Looks like i need some electrical work. Do the front valance lights blink? Or are they just driving lights?

YES the lights in the front valance are your driving lights and your signal lights. Check your grounds first
