Ya something like that.... I also plan on joining a local club.
I was eyeing 315/30/18 up front and 295/40/18 out back. 10 1/2" rims all around.  The back is easy.... it's the front that will take some creativity. 

The stupid part about this autocross stuff..... there is no money in it. For 25 years I've been into circle track racing and everyone always complains about the payouts/prize money . At least there it covers the tires, fuel and entry fee.  Ahhh the male ego/pride such an easy thing to extort!

Well 4 new "shoes" showed up yesterday.....
  I bought them from Discount tire direct last Friday evening online from the USA and boom  they were here on  Wednesday. Very cool, free shipping, prepaid customs , no extra brokerage fee's! Highly recommend them!  I couldn't have got them that quick locally!

I like the prepaid customs deal that a lot of companies are now doing. Like with Summit...They charge you everything up front and they just show up at your door....Unlike in the past when UPS would hold your parts hostage on their truck until you gave them another million dollars

Naw I just figured I'd put the taller tire on the drivers side to counter balance my fat a$$ 

I hear you on the UPS thing. I've had a hate on them for years now because of that.  UPS still managed to screw it up though. I got a phone call from a local tire shop telling me UPS dropped of my tires at there shop by accident. That was embarrassing going over there to pick them up. I know the owner well.
