    Wheel Opening mouldings

    I just called Laysons and they qouted me 329.99 for a set of reproduction wheel opening mouldings. :stomp:

    I thought these were normally between 150 and 200 a set???? Anyone know if this is correct and can reccomend a good source? Thanks

    Check The Paddock - they should have repo's for $189 a set of 4 ( plus shipping )

    Bummer - the only reason I knew about them is I browsed them in their catalog yesterday and was thinking of getting a set  :newsad:

    Hmmmm so I shall be the test vehicle for these? :banghead:

    I see a price from 130 to 190 for these, but I have to think that they are the ssame manufacturer??
    What do you guys think? I will test them and provide feedback if you think the 130 is the way to go??? :dontknow:

    We have repros, but haven't put them on yet.  I think we got ours from Y1 years ago.  I've always heard you really have to "persuade" them to fit.

    I'll fess up,
      I have repros. I bought them from Jim's. I know they were under $200. Yes, some of the holes aren't quite right, but you can manage it. It beats the tar out of paying $500+ for NOS moldings.

    I bought a set of Cuda moldings from year one about 2 years ago.....i sent them back...no where near close to fitting the contour of the fender. I dont know if they have fixed the problem, or if i had a bad set?

    REV, mine are on the car and as you should know by now my parts are 90% from Yearone.

    The fit is great, although I didn't put them on the resto team said "piece of piss" so they is always good.  :laughing:

    As for Jimsauto, even if they were giving them away free I wouldn't go there.  :grinno: :gripe:

    Hey KF, that lasons price sound way out of line with the rest of companys,130.00 to 180.00 sound way better
    I bought mine off E-bay when they first came out, they do take a little tweaking to get the fit good, only a few holes lined up and the screws are kinda cheap, good luck let us know how it turns out. :)
