What's the best way to polish up my shabby water pump? Lots of diffcult little corners to try to get into.

Sprayed mine with blue engine paint; no polishing required. 73 340.  If I had to polish one I would use felt bobs on a die grinder with some polishing compound to get into the fin recesses.

Bought new in '71; I wanted the Challenger but they were $2850; too much $ so I got the 318, 3 speed on the floor, Twister Duster for $2100.

I ain't done yet.
