    is anyone else having problems seeing pictures in threads? I see little red x in boxes in most threads, can only see pictures in very few threads.

    It depends how old the threads are . . . .the site will purge out the old pictures to save space on the server.  If you are viewing a red X, picture has probably been deleted when the uploader file is full.   :eek4:

    If you want to put up a picture that doesn't get purged you can use photobucket or one of the other free hosting sites.

    That's what I use.

    It's a shame C-C.com doesn't do that. Purge them to a free host automatically so they will not be lost. But I guess it would be a lot of hassle doing so.

    Hey Scott,

      Nice to see you post here again!

    What other's have said. I post the pictures I don't want deleted using Photobucket as the host. Just copy and paste the IMG code, and you are good to go.

    I know this is a big issue for people and its really my only regret of this site.  I didn't have much forward thinking back in the day.  we are no longer purging pictures, but unfortunately poor planning on my part has led to a loss of some...
