    Yeah, you have to have some ventalation.  As for the cold, I live in California and we west coasters think any thing below 50 degrees is freezing.  :roflsmiley:

    I love the Cuda. And a great story to go with it. You are lucky to have such a sweet ride. I to am getting sick of this winter. It's -24 below this morning and the whole month of January we spent below zero. You folks out east are getting hammered with a lot of snow aren't you? We have our share but I think you guys got it worse.

    Not car related but I am setting up the garage in my new house and I spent 6 hours yesterday -14 celcious running wire and putting up drywall. I did buy an infared heater for the garage but it's not hooked up till the electrical gets checked out.

    Welcome and gorgeous car! :wave:  :2thumbs:   I also have a '70 Cuda "U" code 440 w/4-speed and dana rear.  My car was originally Lemon Twist yellow with a black vinyl top but is now black w/black vinyl top/interior. 

    When I retired and moved to Utah I told my wife I had to have a heated shop. So the contractor installed radiant gas heaters on thermostats. I keep them set at 40 degrees and turn them up to 65 when I'm working on the 'Cuda or working in the shop.  In no time I  have my sweat shirt off and turn the thermostat down to 55.  My son who is a mechanic uses my shop once or twice a week to do side jobs since his garage isn't heated.   :roflsmiley:

    If you don't mind me asking what did it cost to get your power booster re-built?  I need mine done.

    Don't be a stranger and keep posting pics of that beautiful 'Cuda.

    I have a heated garage, but yet I cannot seem to get motivated to get out there to finish up my wiring.  -18F this morning.  The crazy cold temps makes it hard for me to want to turn up the thermostat to heat that much space with such a difference in temperature.  It still cost $$ to spend that much time out there.  I don't expect any sympathy from those of you with out a heater.

    The booster rebuild is around 140. A little extra to paint it. My car has the factory exhaust manifolds. I had the engine rebuilt to specs recommended by Bob K. ( Mr. Six PAC) His cam, 10.5 -1 Forged pistons, h- beam rods, good valve job on factory heads, balance and blueprinted. Pro-Max did the carbs. (PO gave me the original AVS and manifold but he put the six-barrel on in 1978. So I left it for now. ) My engine showed 426 HP@ 5400rpm and 500 ft lbs TQ @ 2700rpm. Its a blast to drive. John

    Thanks. I see the confusion. The dyno pic has headers installed. We did both. Went with exhaust manifolds instead. I would like to see pics of your u-code.
