Any updates on your car?

The shortblock has been changed and lots of parts for the engine replaced because of metal fragments. It is back in the car and
only needs a few things done before it can start. He has been busy with work and hasn't found the time to get it finished. I hope
it will be running soon. I am ready to have it back. The other convertible is painted and for sale. It turned out great. I have been
driving it around since the end of July so my convertible lust is in good shape :cooldancing: .
Here is a couple of pics of the other Challenger.....
Thanks , Keith

Here are some quick pics and a short video. Car is here, but haven't done anything with it for now. Cars are stacked one on the lift and one under, and one in the other side of the garage. Might get motivated after the first of the year. Probably going to look at a front seat change. Need to find a shop that does custom seats and brackets. Want something like the newer Charger/ Challenger seats, but will need them redone in white and have my rears done to match. I like the XV convertible rear door panels with the speakers molded in. Does anyone know where to get a set of those? Man... lots of stuff clogging the brain with this build.  :hyper: I have second thoughts about the paint color also. I was going with the snakeskin green/ synergy green, but it seems like everybody is using that color now. Don't know..., but I need a color that goes with the white interior and rubber bumpers. Car was originally B5Blue, so that's something to think about.  :pullinghair: :pullinghair: :pullinghair:

Here is a startup video I put on youtube...

Looks like a nice clean install

No matter what color you paint it somebody has already done it... :faint:

I would go with your original plan it sounds cool and should look nice yellow is another great color option

I like the Snake Skin Green Idea, but I've just seen a lot of cars done that color lately. My thoughts were with rubber bumpers, Upgraded Suspension, Upgraded Brakes, and most of all a 6.4 Hemi, It would be styled more late model. Hence the late model color... I also was looking at Curious Yellow, but there are a few cars in the group I hang out with already that color. Same with Purple or Orange. I'll probably go with the Green. My original choice was Sassy Grass Green, so the Snake Skin would be sort of an upgrade... :jumping:

The ones on it. I already decided and bought them. Although they are dirty from the mock up shop, they are new. They are Foose F237 "Knuckle".
They are polished aluminum. I thought they were chrome when I bought them. If they get to be too much maintenance, I will get them chromed or swap them out for something else. 18 x 8 245-40-18 on front, and 18 x 10 285-40-18 rear
