Awesome project! I will be following this build as this is the route I am going with my 70 Challenger.

On my Alterkation frame, Bill moved the engine mounts forward about an 1.5" to help minimize modifications to the trans tunnel. Is yours done that way?

Other than the cross member needing to be removed for the Nag to clear, were any other tunnel mods needed?

We did not move the engine. It was on the table, but it worked out better by not moving it. Problems with the rack and the oil cooler I think were the main reasons.
The tranney tunnel clears except for the dipstick tube. He is going to make a different one going to the side. The crossmember area was not big enough to clear that flange for the driveshaft,. He has a few ideas for the shaft with the slip yoke. I will post what he decided on when I know.
Thanks , Keith

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

That's just a mock up wiper motor. He was concerned about clearance so he borrowed one from a friend.
I have a restored one already here for the car done by Bruce Somer. It's a beautiful motor  :woohoo:

Chrome was off when I got the car. Had a nasty dent in each side, common on convert trim. My stainless guy got them out with no signs of them being there.
One thing I do know, you need the windshield out. There are screws in the frame under the windshield chrome and you cant get to them with the window in.
Thanks , Keith
