I'll try and explain this the best I can.
Chrysler kept records on options by percentages built.
By that I mean....They know that out of ALL 1971 Cudas "X" amount were painted EV2, they know out of ALL Cudas the amount that had H6XV, they know how many were 340's, how many were 4spd, etc...
What these numbers CAN NOT tell you is how many cars had the options together.
For example:
11.2% or 636 of ALL 1971 BS23/BS27 cars were painted EV2
0.6% or 34 of ALL 1971 BS23/BS27 cars were painted V02 Two tone paint (all colours)
60.6% or 3439 of ALL 1971 BS23/BS27 cars were 340 cars
But what you CAN NOT do is cross reference the options....Like you can not assume that 11.2% of the 60.6% were orange 340 cars.....Does that make sense ?
Unfortunately the records I have do not include a break down for H6XV....
