    Anybody Know Where To Bring A 1971 Cuda in for a complete resto in the state of Minnesota or surrounding area, all original sheet metal, very little rust repair. would pull everything off of car and even put it on a rottessier. thanks

    Might want to contact Greg at the "Mopar Ponderosa" over in Minneapolis. He always has some primo rides and I'm sure he knows everybody there is to know concerning Mopars in Minnesota. Google "Mopar Pondersoa" and you will see what I mean.

    I think there is a shop in Wisconson that specializes in Mopars but for the life of me I cannot remember the name or city. I'm sure Greg would know them.

    You could try RT Garage in Belle Plain, MN. I have no experience with them other than to buy a Rev-n-ator from them and they seemed good to work with.

    Are you thinking of Apex http://www.apexautosports.com/ in Grafton WI? From what I have seen, Andy and the crew do some beautiful work too.

    You could try Corey Owens at Ogilvie Collision & Restoration.  763-245-0134  He's finishing our '71 Cuda right now.  He also restored our '71 440+6 GTX that was featured in MCG.

    It is a complete resto.  It should be done in the next couple of weeks.  You should drive to his shop to take a look at it if you're interested.  We actually bought the car from Corey and had him restore it.  He did an OE resto on our '71 440+6 GTX.  It turned out awesome, but this time we were going for a "day two" appearance.  It's pretty much stock appearing with the exception of the headers and it's going to have some sort of mags on it, but not sure which ones yet.  It's not numbers matching so we had Wheeler Racing Engines in Blaine, MN build a 408 stroker from a stock '70 340 block.  It makes just under 450 HP and almost 500 lbs.  The car is meant to be a driver but we had him paint the underside in the dip gray primer color with factory correct overspray.  It is a factory 340 4 speed with B5 exterior, B5 interior, console and white billboards.  The shaker and rear wing were added options.

    How about Restorations by Rick Kreuziger? Restorick is hanging out at moparts, ive only dealt with him for components but was always a good guy! I think he is in Wisconsin tho.....worth checking i would say... i believe he specializes in mopars.

    I think he pretty much specializes in selling his services for component resto these days.  I've heard from more than one person that if you want your car done in under 4 years, don't bring it to him.

    You may want to consider having Larry Lembke in in Luana, IA (about 1.5 hours south of Rochester) do your car.  He is just finishing up my 71:



    He has also done 3 other cars for me:



    He also did this car for my brother:



    And did a rotisserie restoration on this 440 six pack convertible for Kevin Moore (pictures taken with a cheap digital camera):




    He's done restorations on a 56 glass top Mercury, a dz302 Camaro, a 71 Charger, 74 Duster, several of Dan Pixler's rare 50s/60s mercury cars, worked on one of Kevin Moore's Superbirds, etc.

    Dont mean to get off track here, but is he (Larry) the guy who is currently restoring an original B5 blue '70 Challenger RT/SE Hemi/auto that recently came out of Canada where it had been sitting since the '70's? I had heard that car was bought and went to Iowa for restoration but I didn't know who was doing it. Just curious.
