Mine is obviously different as it is straight on that plate. Could be 95 or earlier model and I have the same for a spare

Brad,
Do you have the same hydro boost system or are you talking about the same mounting plate?

I haven't finished mine yet but it's the same astro van unit mounted on an angle in the astro van. I don't think it matters much as I don't use the stock bracket anyhow.

Rattlesnake. My setup requires little technical fabrication such as machining angled blocks or adapters etc. Read through the attached as this was very easy and simple to install. Not taking anything away but if you have access to a machine shop then the world is at your feet otherwise the way I have done it is safe as I use the factory setups and very inexpensive to install. You can see the straight plate in the pictures so must have been an earlier van year but both units I have are the same and came from Astro Vans.

Update on my vacuum situation. I opted for a different route. Instead of the hydro-boost I took a belt driven vacuum pump off a 7.3 liter diesel engine from the pic-a-part. (cost me 15.00) and fabricated some brackets on the lathe and mill. I mounted it under the alternator. produces 22 in of vacuum. Brakes work like a Cadillac.
Never knew anyone to do this so it appealed to me. I always have the complete hydro-boost system to fall back on if needed.
