Update on my vacuum situation. I opted for a different route. Instead of the hydro-boost I took a belt driven vacuum pump off a 7.3 liter diesel engine from the pic-a-part. (cost me 15.00) and fabricated some brackets on the lathe and mill. I mounted it under the alternator. produces 22 in of vacuum. Brakes work like a Cadillac.
Never knew anyone to do this so it appealed to me. I always have the complete hydro-boost system to fall back on if needed.
