Hide a user? How To Use The "Ignore" feature...
« on: February 14, 2014 - 06:53:46 PM »
Is there a way to hide posts from a specific user? Lots of great posts but a couple threads ruined by some spammers pimping their outside websites, if I could just turn off their posts it would be amazing.
  Thanks

You can simply put a member on your "Ignore" list.

Click on your user profile.

Just to the right of "Profile Info" is the "Modify Profile" tab. This is located right above your user name and avatar. Mouse over the "Modify Profile" and a drop down menu will appear. Scroll down to "Buddies/Ignore List". Mouse over that and you will be given the choice to edit buddies list or edit ignore list. Click on the edit ignore list option and add the member you wish to ignore.  That should get you fixed up....   :2thumbs:

This seems to be a popular little tidbit of information. I think I will "sticky" it for a little while... :grinyes:

Thanks for the suggestion Surfmichaels...     :2thumbs:

Not sure who you are all talking about :), but I can say it's already been an improvement.... I'll also add everyone else above to my friend list since we seem to all be on the same no drama page... Thanks to you all for providing posts worth reading!!!!

Is there a way to ignore entire subsections?  I'd love to stop seeing that Current Events forum when I look for new posts.

Hi Surf

The way this function works, is he will see a post has been made by his mortal enemy, but he has the option of seeing the response or not. The default is to the "not" side.
