Re- doing front buckets. Cover done now looking to put them back together. What color is on the seat catches and are the bolts plated or painted?

Latches are plated that weird browish colour like a hood latch. Bolts would be black.

So who plates them? And are the bolts painted black or plated ?

Don't know who can correctly plate them. The only one around was Jules the wiperman :angelwings:

The bolts are a black phosphate coating, easier just to pick up new bolts. :2cents:

That's what I was thinking to was just buying new. A lot of trouble to re plate. So now the question is....... Who makes the most correct bolts?

HooverAutoParts sells them, and claims they are correct.
