GOOD GUY ALERT for member edl94
« on: February 16, 2014 - 06:25:17 PM »
This is for member edl94 (Ed)

:worshippy THANK YOU ... THANK YOU ... THANK YOU ... THANK YOU :worshippy
Recently i asked for help with pictures of a speed control unit and how they are fitted and look in the engine bay, Ed came back to me with additional pictures and also contacted me in regards to his left over parts from his own speed control he removed from his car many years ago that was sitting in a box not being used. Ed decided to give me the parts he had left over for free if i paid for the shipping. :woohoo: What a great guy, but it gets better. He then contacted me and told me to put a certain amount of money in to an account for him and told me that i did not want to know the real price for shipping and he was just glad his parts were going to someone who could use them. :clapping:

Well the box of speed control parts arrived just the other day and the shipping total was nearly double what he had asked me to put in to the account he specified :faint: I followed up telling him that i will have to put more money in to his account, but he said not to bother as it was a gift from him to me :swaying:

I can not thank you enough Ed You really are a gentleman and one of the good guys of the C-C site, and these parts will be going in to my car and stay their for ever :woo: YOU have made me a very happy man my good friend, Thank you so very much

Hey Kenny,

I know this is an old post, but where would i get an aftermarket or OE speed control unit? I have the stalk installed and the wiring is there in the column, as this car once had the cruise control.  It would be nice to find someone with one or a repro even..   Anyways....see you at COTM

Matt and I will be staying in the Hotel ELKO!!    :aussie: :burnout:

I have a complete one removed from my Cuda, just need to switch out the turn signal lever.  The shipping would be a little high coming from Denver, CO.

Thanks Dfraz!

I have the turn signal lever intact.  If you could see what it would cost from Denver Co. to Kilmore East, Victoria, Australia, I could also enquire from my end.  Do you have a photo or two??

Dfraz....How much do you want for it?  Depending on weight it shouldn't be too expensive via USPS!!
