build 440 at the other end of the world - help

long story in short: i have in Russia dodge chellanger r/t 440, may be only 5 cars in russia and my is one of them. I'm the only person who wants to build a 440 engine :naughty:
what i have is a stock 440 from 70r/t + edelbrock torker 2 intake manifold + FAST ez-efi V.1 kit
I have hughes 727 rated at 550hp(next will be a manual trany)
I will run the car very hard, so engine will be running almost at it's maximum - agressive acceleration, sideways, turns, drifting all day long

I don't have a big budget, and according to the big shipping quotes I'm looking for your advices.

My goal for the engine is strong heavy duty 500hp engine, which I'll be drving 3-4times a week

There are 2 options that I'm looking into:

1) If I will stay with my stock crank (I will repair and balance it) In this case I will stay with my stock displacement
4secondsflat is offering a premium reuild kit, whch includes everything that I need + Melling HV Oil Pump, Timing Set, but I don't get what other components to choose. There are bunch of other parts options, so I'm looking for your help to choose them.
Aluminum 440sourceheads
Hydraulic or Solid performace cam and what cam???
What rods do I need?
I'm planni to run on 91 pump gas, what is the best pistons compression for it?

2) I called @ 440source, they almost didn't give me any advices. They just told me to buy their 500 stroker kit and aluminum heads - "and you will be fine!".
In this case, what about the timing set, oil pump, oil sump and etc.  :1zhelp:

Welcome!  :wave:   I agree with getting a stroker kit. By the time you rework all the stock stuff  your further ahead to go with the stroker kit. The stock stuff weights a ton compared to the new stuff.

It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Do you want to build a torque monster or something else?

The upside to getting components from 440source is that they already balance all the internals so you don't have to. As a side note, I had a non-stroker build setup from 440source and my machine shop guy said he would take a favor from his balancer and send over the components. Nowhere could he find anything out of balance so it was a moot point. A second check but was nice to know they do a good job at it.

If you buy the 440source heads, consider buying them bare and having them built (with better quality components).  The CNC versions get very good flow.  Modern Cylinder Head would be a good shop to call for this.

If you buy the 440source heads, consider buying them bare and having them built (with better quality components).  The CNC versions get very good flow.  Modern Cylinder Head would be a good shop to call for this.

thanks every one....
most of all - I want strong engine that i can play hard and it will not let me down, medium and high rpm range.
 I read that 440source stroker kit is good up to 1000hp! and i dont need that, if it will make 520-550hp i will be happy...

 if I will buy a FULL rebuild kit with new parts:
Perfect Rings    
Clevite  Rod Bearings
Cometic MLS H/Gaskets Head Gasket Set
TRW Pistons with Pins (seller said that Hi can put JE, CP if i need - do I?? TRW are  bad quality?)
Main Bearings    Clevite
Cam Bearings   Durabond
Oil Pump Melling High Volume
Freeze Plugs Melling Automotive
Pin Bushings Clevite
Camshaft    Racer Brown  Hyd  or  Solid  (plz give me advice what will be the best - i know that with EZ-EFI I can put more aggressive cam  :smokin: )
Lifters  (advice advice advice advice advice) roller???
Timing Chain & Gears  Cloyes
PLUS++++
 light rods from 440source
 and i Will polish and balance crankshaft with new Balancer (i can do it here - no problem)

it will cost me not more then 2200$

or 440stroker???

I would do the 440 source 512 kit with 7.1" rods , use a melling std volume high pressure oil pump & the hemi 6 qt pan & pick up , or the milodon roadrace pan . I would look at the Super Stealth heads .
 I use Lunati custom grind solid cams , depend what Rpm range you want the powerband though , you can get similar performance to a street roller grind , with almost 600 lift & still have a decent idle at around 800 rpm , or you can get more lift with higher rpm

more I'm asking, more questions I have!

here we have no experience in modification heads, choosing the right cams for !muscle cars! I can build a 1000hp WV-POLO for every day on pump gas and all from 1.8l engine ---- because there is experience. but I a'm  ZERO at old-scool BigBlock, and I need your Help!

so for me - it is beter to have parts ready from the box!
if 440source HEADS are not that good, may be Edelbrock RPM??

solid and Hydraulic lifters - the difference is clear to me - And i will go with Solid(need more RPM then 5500) BUT what's better roller or flat??

with such a large "LIFT" (570/573)  there will be no problems with a gap between valve and piston?? and what do valve springs will it need??
