What's this switch called?

Can somebody please tell me the proper name for this switch that is located on the side of the clutch pedal of a '70 'Cuda?
The wire coming off of it  has a rubber grommet so I assume it goes through firewall.  The previous owner cut the wire so I need to order a new switch but don't know what it is called.  Also, what does it plug into?

I don't think those switches are cheap.  Why do you need to replace it?  Can't you just add another section of wire?  Maybe JS Restorations can restore it for you...if it's internally bad.

Thanks HP Cuda.  Burdar, I could add some more wire and a push pin connector but hate to do that if I can avoid it.  Don't know if it's bad as the car was apart when I bought it.  I'll see what one costs first and then decide. 
Anybody know where it plugs in?

I believe it plugs into the starter relay, I would think you could jumper the wire to there no prob.

HP Cuda. Don't mean to question your knowledge, but is there a chance it might be called by some other name?  I just checked all the usual suspects, Roseville, Year One, Classic Industries, Dales Cuda shop, PG Classic restorations, E-Bay and even did a google search and nobody shows my switch under that name.  There are plenty of listing for NS switches but none look like mine and most seem to refer to automatic cars, not 4 speeds.   :cluele   :dunno:ss:

You should be able to check if the switch is working with a meter, reading ohms.
If the button is not pressed in (clutch up), it should be open. With the button pushed in (clutch down), you would get a short.

That's what I thought too. Check your new tko 600 when it comes in. Mine came with a "neutral safety switch".

I know for a fact that jsrestorations@rocketmail.com does restore those exact switches. He gives a full waranty and checks every part before they leave his shop.
