After I saw the price of a new one, I've decided to splice a new wire on with a push pin connector first.  My son is coming over this Sat to test my rallye gauge cluster so we'll test this switch at the same time per Cudaman Tom's instructions.  :2thumbs:

Hey raptr, if you do get stuck buddy and find out the switch is no good after you have checked it out thoroughly and want to keep an original part in the car, check out this link over on Moparts to Jim's Restoration page that he has posted up, have a good look through everything he does, as their is a full detailed view of many parts he does and the switch you are after just happens to be one of the many items he has pictured.
Really worth a look if you do get stuck. :2thumbs:

Good news, my son and I tested the switch this morning and it works perfectly.   :woohoo:  Now I just have splice on a new push pin connector and see if I have that little pig tail adapter cable in my parts stash.  I'm thinking no since the previous owner cut the wire.  Time to call Brewers.
