That's where I would start but the seller is no rookie when it comes to these cars. Its probably worth the 3 hour drive Just to see the other cars he owns.

She's back, now she needs a clutch and only 10k more. They bought her from the guy in Connecticut , ruined the clutch, watched the Mecum auction and she's for sale !!

Its a desirable car for sure, and I agree it should remain the original color, but if you own it you can do whatever you want
Not worth more than $35 IMO though
